Why rent a villa in Ibiza?
Staying in one of the many luxury villas in Ibiza feels like having your own home on the island, without fixed hotel schedules or shared facilities. For families or groups of friends, a villa is often better value than booking several hotel rooms, because everyone shares the same pool, terrace and kitchen, and the price per person is often similar to that of a good hotel.
Privacy is one of the main reasons guests choose a villa in Ibiza. Depending on the location, villas are set in quiet residential areas, on elevated plots or within gated communities, and many have sea views, large private grounds or secluded outdoor areas.

Space is another big advantage. Villa hire in Ibiza can mean a cliffside home with sea views, a finca in the countryside or a villa just minutes from Ibiza Town, and there is no single best location for every stay. It really depends on what matters most to you, whether that is beaches, nightlife, restaurants, privacy, countryside or being close to town. Here is a short overview of the main regions.
The southwest, for sunsets and luxury
Guests looking for privacy and Mediterranean views often choose villas in Es Cubells, while the gated community of Vista Alegre offers even more seclusion just minutes from Cala Jondal. Around San José you are close to coves such as Cala Tarida, Cala Vadella, Cala Moli and Cala Conta, with views of the rock island of Es Vedrà. This part of the island is perfect for couples and groups who want privacy and the best sunsets on Ibiza, and the airport is about 20 to 25 minutes away.
Close to Ibiza Town, for restaurants and nightlife
If you want to stay near town, Talamanca has a sandy beach and quick access to the centre, and Marina Botafoch puts you right by the marina, with plenty of restaurants and clubs nearby. Up on the hills, Cap Martinet, Can Pep Simó and Jesús have large villas looking out over Dalt Vila and the sea. It is a great choice for groups and couples who like to go out in the evening, and you can reach the airport in about 15 minutes.
The east, for families and a relaxed pace
On the east coast, Santa Eulalia suits families and anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere, with a marina, a seafront promenade, good restaurants and services open all year. Properties in Can Furnet sit in a private residential community between Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town, and around San Carlos, home to the well-known Las Dalias hippy market, you will find quiet sandy beaches. From here the airport is about 15 to 25 minutes away.
The north and the interior, for fincas and nature
Around Santa Gertrudis and San Lorenzo you will find spacious restored fincas among olive groves, fields and pine forests, small authentic villages and, further north, unspoilt coves such as Benirràs. Families and anyone looking for peace and the traditional side of Ibiza feel very much at home here, about 20 to 35 minutes from the airport.

Large luxury villas in prime locations can cost more than €60,000 per week in high season, depending on the location, size, number of bedrooms, amenities and services, and prices are often much lower outside the summer months. Rates, availability, minimum stay and rental conditions are always confirmed for each villa individually.
Services and what to consider when renting a villa in Ibiza
Every villa is a little different, but most luxury villas in Ibiza come with a private pool, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and large terraces. Final cleaning, bed linen, towels and the upkeep of the pool and garden are usually included in the price, while a private chef, daily housekeeping, transfers, wellness treatments or a concierge are normally booked as extras.
Before you book, it is worth checking exactly what the price includes, how much the security deposit on arrival is and whether the Balearic tourist tax has already been added. A good rental contract also clearly shows your dates, the maximum number of guests, the cancellation terms and the villa’s licence number.
Planning your villa hire in Ibiza
When you compare villas, the location, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, privacy, outdoor space and the distance to beaches, restaurants and Ibiza Town matter just as much as the design.
If you have fixed dates, want sea views or have a specific area in mind, it pays to start your search early. The best villas for July and August are often booked during the winter, so we recommend enquiring around six months ahead. In high season most villas are rented by the week, often Saturday to Saturday, while shorter stays are much easier to find in May, June, September and October.
